André started his career in drama at a young age in Portugal, leading to TV and film roles. He later discovered stand-up comedy, moving to the UK until Brexit forced him to tour globally. He’s performed across Europe, Dubai, and Australia, earning accolades like “Best International New Act” at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In 2023, André became the first Portuguese comedian to perform a solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe, where his debut What If received critical acclaim. He’s also the creator of Comedy Therapy, a hit podcast blending comedy and mental health, and has supported major acts like Jim Jefferies and Russell Peters. Go see André at Shtickfest on Friday!
