Rotterdam-born comedian Tim Hartog performs in Dutch at Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam.

About Tim Hartog

From a young age, Tim Hartog (16 December 1986, Rotterdam) knew he wanted to be a cabaret artist. After first aspiring to a career as a palaeontologist and trying his hand as a guitarist for a while, his ability to talk in front of large groups tipped the balance. That, and the fact that he couldn’t do much else. After four years at the Koningstheateracademie in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tim graduated in 2010 with his graduation show. That same year, he competed in Cameretten and reached the semi-finals. By now Tim’s CV is extremely long, with as its highlight a twice sold-out Oude Luxor in 2023.

In 2023, Tim created De Rijnmondse Oudejaarsconference, a New Year’s Eve show looking back on the year’s biggest events in his home region.

Theatre

In 2013 he debuted with his first full-length show, Hokjesgeest. Later that year he appeared on Comedy Factory on RTL 4. In 2015 Tim reached the final of the Leids Cabaret Festival with the show Gezellie. Vol Verwachting was his second show, which he performed in the 2016/2017 season.
