Michelle Shaughnessy

Michelle Shaughnessy was a force to be reckoned with in Canada's standup comedy scene.

Hailing from in Toronto Michelle is fast making a name for herself across North America and now the UK where she currently resides.

Shaughnessy mines every part of her life for funny and just keeps coming up with gold. She was also a finalist in SiriusXM’s $25 000 Top Comic Challenge and her audition video has since went viral, with 5 million views and climbing.

She’s had numerous appearances on television and her standup comedy is regularly featured on Sirius XM stations worldwide. As seen on The Comedy Network, W Network, in the TV movie A Chance for Christmas and on FIVE broadcast sets for the CBC, including the Winnipeg and Halifax comedy festivals,

Her debut album “You Know What You Did” hit number one on the iTunes comedy charts and her sophomore release “Botoxic” recently received 5 out of 5 N’s from Now Magazine.

Michelle is also an accomplished writer and actor with credits that span commercial, variety, scripted and unscripted television.
