Marie Koet was named the comedy talent of 2026 by de Volkskrant, after the same newspaper had already tipped her as one of the comedy talents of both 2024 and 2025. She has been a regular at Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam since 2022. De Volkskrant describes her as ‘an odd bird with sharp material’. Newspaper Trouw called her ‘a queen of self-mockery’.

Audience reactions are glowing too. From: “I cried with laughter during your set”, to: “I’m a psychologist and here’s my business card, I can help you, please come and see me.”

Off stage, Marie has written for De Speld and the satirical TV show Plakshot.

Eindspel

In 2026, Marie starts try-outs of her first full-length show Eindspel, which will premiere later in the year.
