About Daveson Ignatia

Daveson Ignatia, one of the very first regulars of Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam, has become an indispensable face of the Dutch stand-up comedy scene. Behind his imposing presence lies a surprisingly sincere and engaging personality that effortlessly wins over his audience.

With his show Dwaze Dave, Daveson reached the final of the renowned Cameretten Festival in 2023, after which he toured the whole country with his fellow finalists. That same year, he completed an impressive mini-tour of Suriname, accompanied by none other than Roué Verveer.

How it started

Daveson has been on stage since he was little! Whether it was a lip-sync show or a small part in a play, he was always there! He went looking for the spotlight himself and started his career as a master of ceremonies (MC) at festivals and events. He soon discovered he had more talents than just announcing acts. It didn’t take long before he found his true love: making stand-up comedy! As a comedy talent, he knows like no other how to captivate and fascinate his audience and draw them into roaring laughter. He shares his love for comedy with passion and a great deal of joy.
