Gavin Matts

Originally from Vancouver, now a New York based comedian, Gavin performs regularly at prestigious clubs the Comedy Cellar and The Stand. Gavin moved to the states in 2017 after winning the Canada’s Top Comic Competition at Just For Laughs: Toronto. In 2024, he was named one of Vulture Magazine’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know.” Gavin’s debut special, progression, released in October 2023, was produced by All Things Comedy and Bill Burr. It received acclaim from New York Magazine, calling it “dark comedy at its best.”
